Regular maintenance of earthing systems in factories is very important. Over time, weather and environmental factors can weaken the connection.
You should check all connections every 6 to 12 months. Make sure nuts and bolts are tight, and there is no sign of rust. If the rod is damaged or too old, replace it with a new GI or copper rod.
If you’re using chemical earthing, make sure the compound is still effective. Some systems may need a refill or booster compound.
Clean the earthing pits and covers so water does not collect inside. Proper maintenance helps avoid safety risks and keeps machines running well.
